TOPS Mini Tom Brown Tracker #4

At just 6.5 inches long, TOPS’ new Tom Brown Jr. Tracker #4 still proved to be a lot of knife for its size.

Authorities on real-world survival agree that a full-tang, fixed-blade knife is best suited for those times when you really aren’t sure what chores you might face. From breaking through the safety glass of a car window to clawing yourself back onto the solid ice of a frozen lake, a knife that is deployed as soon as it’s drawn from the sheath can be a lifesaver in any number of ways.

The new Mini Tom Brown Tracker #4 from TOPS Knives is a candidate for the position of full-time carry knife in any locale where there isn’t an irrational fear of cutting tools. A miniaturized version of the Tracker knife made famous by Benicio Del Toro in the movie The Hunted, the Tracker #4 in the Tom Brown signature series is not a novelty knife. As the movie depicted, a knife’s effectiveness as tool or weapon depends on its wielder, and the Mini Tracker is possibly even more useful than its larger predecessors.

This is a great EDC multitool

It should be noted that this is a three finger knife. I added a thick lanyard/fob to allow a fourth finger grip.
It’s been at my side for a long time now. I also since have bought the complete set of TOPS Trackers, as well as a second one of these in camo. Great multitool and this, my EDC steak/fire prep knife

Awsome!

I was very nervous because of how small the knife was. I wanted something small though so I said I'll try it. This knife does everything it says it will. And is an awsome survival knife so far I have botanned several small logs and sawed a bunch of notches on random sticks For trap triggers and it works awsome. It you want a small concealable survival knife you wont mind carrying everyday this is the knife for you.

so far so good

Just came in today so have not put it through any test yet, but so far not too bad. Going to run it as my EDC which I use alot so we will see in a few weeks if it holds up. I am know there are better knives for less money, but I really like Tom Brown Jr books and things so had to get one of his knives and this one was the least expensive and most practical for my use. Handle could be longer I have big hands so its a wee little thing.
