DESCRIPTION

When you have a mountain of gear to transport, you want Osprey’s Porter 65. Grab this large travel duffel by the padded handles and toss it in the back of the taxi. When the ride ends, unzip the back panel and deploy the padded mesh shoulder harness and hipbelt suspension to carry it comfortably as a pack.

The main compartment has two zippered side pockets and a lower divider to keep gear separate in transit.

A large front panel pocket contains padded laptop and tablet sleeves and an internal zip pocket for small items. The zippers accessing both compartments are lockable for additional security.

Stash items you want to keep nearby in the top zippered pocket or the vertical zippered pocket on the front panel. No matter how much you fill this duffel, StraightJacket™ compression straps stabilize the load when you’re moving.

If you need more carrying capacity or want the option of a satellite pack for short trips, reinforced cord loops allow you to attach an Osprey Daylite daypack (sold separately) to create a small pack/large duffel bag carrying system for the ultimate in gear transport flexibility.

Exceptional Travel Backpack

I am in the military and travel often on trips averaging about a week in length. I wanted a pack that was big enough to carry a full uniform plus a week of civilian clothes as a carry on, something that packs in the 40-45 liter ballpark can’t do. This bag fits the bill. It has a tremendous amount of space and a very large amount of individual compartments to keep your gear organized, but will still fit in the overhead compartment of most larger aircraft. It even has a large pocket at the top for frequently used items, which honestly is something that every high quality pack should have. Just keep in mind that this is a backpack and thus lacks wheels. Also, if you are small, this pack might be a bit heavy for you when fully loaded. For me, this pack was exactly what I needed. A+
