Has some unusual features that work really well

I'm a first year design student and I needed a new backpack for college, figured this one might be pretty good. For five years I used a Jansport Right pack but its lack of features and side pockets was just not functional for my needs. So seeing that Osprey has pretty solid warranties I thought it would make a good school/travel bag. I've had it for about 3 months now with few issues, the most prominent being the zipper pulls (cut them off and replace with paracord or something similar).

I really like the bottom electronics pocket, fits all my cables and dongles pretty well. I can also fit my markers down there two so that's a plus. The side pockets could be larger but they're otherwise fine. Front organizer has enough space for most of my pens and such. The laptop sleeve also has enough room at the top for pen pouches, that's where I keep mine. Pretty comfortable to carry all day too, really easy to just throw on and go.

Would buy again, definitely gonna get a good few years out of it

Nice Concept, poor execution

Pros:
This is a well built (quality wise) pack with comfortable straps, great weight management and a good organizational pocket.

Cons:
The Lower zip compartment, while neat, is pretty much unusable. The way the zipper was sewn in makes it nearly impossible to open and close easily. Half the time I spent with the pack was trying to use that one zipper. The lower compartment also makes the bottom of the main compartment sloped so anything square can't be placed at the bottom.

Overall this could have been a great pack but the lower compartment isn't worth the hassle.
