The ever-popular Kershaw Emerson series continues to grow with this latest model based on the Emerson Rendezvous. This well rounded knife was originally designed as a hunting knife, but also excels as a camping, survival or general EDC knife. The unique blade shape provides an ample belly for game processing, and added slicing power. Grippy G-10 scales rest over a sturdy frame lock mechanism that offers undeniable lock up strength. Emerson's coveted wave-opener rounds out this versatile edition to the Kershaw Emerson series.

  • Ergonomic G-10 handles provide high performance grip strength.
  • Reversible tip-up pocket clip offers comfortable right or left side carry.
  • Emerson wave-opener and thumb disc for ambidextrous blade deployment.

Great utility knife

Great utility knife. The curve is beefy enough to bear down on cutting large PVC/ABS pipes, small enough to handle for detail work. Good chopper, holds an edge fairly well, though I wouldn't recommend honing it too thin.

A little too light for me

I own an Emerson CQC-15. This CQC-11 is a solid knife. The opening is not as smooth at the 15 and the handle is a lot lighter and thinner. What I like about the 15 is the weight and thickness. It feels solid in my hands and is my daily carry for protection and use. The 11 is decent for a back up.

Another home run.

Beast of a knife. Came razor sharp out of the box. Super lockup, blade was pretty close to center. I own Emersons and I find myself carrying these Kershaw economy models more often. I have used the CQC6K under pretty rough conditions and it made short work of the task. The steel is very well heat treated and holds a good edge and is super easy to sharpen back up. I recommend these knives to anyone!
