Great bang for the "you know what"...

I just can't say enough about American made Buck knives.

The Vantage is most certainly no exception. At twenty seven dollars (for the large), this knife is a terrific buy. As mentioned earlier, it's made here in the good ole US of A and is backed by Bucks always promised life time warranty.

Armed with Bucks patented heat treated 420HC steel blade, this knife absolutely gets the job done in any scenario. Plenty tough enough to tear through tree branches, and neatly designed to skin an apple, it's quite the versatile knife. This knife comes spectacularly sharp out of the box. You could shave your face with this thing. Not recommend of course. The edge is like a razor.

The ergonomics feel great. It's soft in the hand with a hardened yet comfortable plastic handle. It's a four finger grip for the average person. The handle has a sleek and pretty design. It doesn't anything fancy, but it looks simplistically beautiful.

There are some complaints about the trigger mechanism, which has merit. The flipper is on the small side, but when you hold it more, it becomes very normal and natural. When I got used to it, I actually kind of favored the size. With the slightest flick of the wrist, the action on the knife is awesome, and the blade flings out very quickly.

Guys, for 27 dollars, you cannot go wrong. It's a very good purchase at the price and deserves your attention. With its ability to perform heavy duty work or precise cuts, there is a lot of versatility here. It's comfy and well built with an exceptionally sharp and strong blade. It's a no brainer at this price point.
