At less than 7" overall length, the Blue Otter makes an excellent EDC or companion blade. The Blue/Black G10 handle is very comfortable for its size, with jimping up top to improve your grip, and a deep choil for safety. The blade shape has a sharp, but strong tip and a slight recurve that aids in many cutting tasks.

Like the otter, the TOPS Blue Otter is quick and nimble. If you're looking for an EDC or concealed carry, smaller self-defense blade, or a knife for processing small game or fish, this is the one. The solid kydex sheath has a multi-position clip so that you can pick the right carry option for your situation, whether that's cross-draw, horizontal, vertical, or even scout carry. You'll be glad you picked this one up.

They should have named it the "Beefy Weasel"!

Ok, this little guy is THICK. The picture does not really represent the fatness of this blade. Typical Tops in fit and finish, very high quality, and it shows. Some interesting things about it, It's a high saber grind that tapers off into a flat grind about two thirds away from the tip. The spine is sort of "Rounded" off, (not round, but two 45 degree grinds start where the jimping ends, and continues to the tip. You can forget about grinding off the coating on the spine for a fire rod, not going to work. The handle is about the same length as and ESEE Izula, but MUCH thicker, (comparing the Izula with the micarta scales added). It's a heavy little blade, IMO, too heavy for a neck knife. Mine came sharp. The Izzy is a better all around blade, but this guy has charm, and you are NOT going to break it, Ever!
