The R50 PRO Seeker is a high-output, rechargeable side-switch LED flashlight that utilizes Olights signature magnetic charging system. The R50 Pro holds a Cree XHP70 LED with four light emitting cores to deliver a maximum output of 3200 lumens which delivers over three times the output of a high performance flashlight using a Cree XM-L2 LED. The included 4500mAh lithium rechargeable battery provides unprecedented power and runtimes for a light of this size. Similar to the original R50 Seeker, the light uses a translucent side switch and chamfered edges to achieve a more premium look and feel. The R50 Pro is the largest and most powerful light in Olight history to encompass our proprietary magnetic charging system that our fans have come to love so much. Simply attach the circular base of the magnetic charging cable to the flashlights tail cap and plug the USB port to any convenient power source such as a wall plug or laptop. The R50 PRO is 5mm shorter in length and 700 lumens brighter than the standard R50 Seeker to make this the ultimate all around flashlight for home, travel, and the great outdoors.

A Torch

The British call a flashlight a "torch". This is a TORCH! I own one of these, plus one of the "LE" versions, and a plain (non-pro) R50 and they are all great lights. The "non-pro" is nice because it has a place to attach a lanyard and this is a light you don't want to drop or lose. The non-pro can also be charged with a standard micro usb charger which means you don't have haul an adapter or worry about losing the adapter. On the other hand the PRO is brighter. Too bad they can't offer a PRO with a place for a lanyard and a standard charger connection.

This is the flashlight described in the cartoon XKCD. Flashlight nuts should just Google "XKCD" and "1603" for a good chuckle.

High quality light

First impression of this light is good. It's a very powerful yet compact light. Easily fits in the hand. Construction seems of high quality. This light appears to be very durable. Iv owned another Olight in the past, as well as several other generic Chinese lights from Amazon. This is the most I've spent on a flashlight, so far, it is worth the money. The charging cable seems short, but the magnetic base works well. I use a flashlight every night at work, it is constantly by my side. This light is a good compromise between brightness and still being practical to carry. It may be slightly to big to comfortably place in a pocket, but it does come with a good holster. Holster is kind of bulky for my taste, but still well built. Most guys at my workplace use the streamlight stinger, a very widley used flashlight. Iv avoided this light for several years due to it's size. I prefer the size and power of the R50 pro seeker. Also I'll note, the magnet is stong enough to allow the flashlight to hang on a magnetic surface.

I own several flashlights and this one will surely find its place on my favorite list. Super quality build and function. Very good balance of throw and spill. Great size, feels perfect in hand. 3200 lumens is nice and bright. Highly recommended.
