NORTH RIVER OUTDOORS, one of the largest Knife & Axe Dealers in Central Virginia, is proud to carry the full line of Gransfors Bruk Axes & Hatchets. Gransfors brings a unique and often sought after quality axe that compliments our existing large selection of Hults Bruk (Sweden) and Helko (Germany) Axes.

Over more than 100 years, Gränsfors Bruks has built up a business based around handcrafted axes and axe expertise, with a focus on quality and environmental responsibility. Gransfors, formed in 1902, has been recognized internationally for their hand forged axes and their sharpness right out of the box. 

As with all of Gransfors products, it is of excellent quality; hand-forged and made using traditional Swedish methods. Each axe head comes individually stamped with the smith's initials, while the hickory handle is boiled in linseed oil and rolled in bees wax for a smooth water repellent finish. Gränsfors Bruk provides a 20 year warranty on all Axes. The warranty includes the axe head, but not the handle or the leather sheet.
