The Kershaw Launch 16 offers serious cutting capabilities with a partially serrated tanto blade, edge retention from top-grade CPM-M4 steel, and a thick blade profile. The tanto shape ensures effective piercing, and the serrated edge makes short work of ropes. Gripping is secure with Trac-Tec inserts, jimping, and a finger choil. The black anodized handle and black Cerakote blade offer a sleek, discreet look, while the reversible deep-carry pocket clip provides comfortable carrying. All this and unforgettable ergonomics make the Launch 16 a loud statement in the tactical cutting world.

  • Made in the USA; tactical work knife with partially serrated tanto blade
  • Black anodized aluminum handle; Trac-Tec inserts, oversized jimping, and finger choil for extra security
  • Premium CPM M4 blade steel excels at edge retention, toughness, and hardness; black Cerakote coating helps prevent corrosion
  • Low-profile push button makes it harder for blade to accidentally deploy; deep-carry pocket clip is easily reversible for left/right carry

Outstanding Auto!

Kershaw has really been stepping up their game lately and this knife really shows it! Build quality and materials are unmatched in this price range. It feels solid in the hand and the action is snappy and crisp. The ergonomics are superb. It’s got a very tactical look, but not overdone where it looks cheesy. I normally prefer plain edge knives, but on this one the partial serrated works perfectly and I actually prefer it. There is still plenty of plain edge to use for any task. I’ve seen other reviews where people say the button is hard to press, but I disagree. It seems perfect to me and my thumb has never had a problem finding the button and deploying it easily. The overall fit and finish are outstanding, and it’s USA made. You just can’t go wrong with this knife!
