Thank you for supporting North River Outdoors for the last 8 years. We would like to provide an update on the actions we are doing to help protect against the spread of COVID-19. As we enter challenging times, the North River Team wants you to know that we recognize the severity of the evolving situation and are working to do our part in protecting the health and welfare of our customers, employees and our community. After weighing the news from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), we have decided to suspend all in-person retail operations at our Ashland Store. We will be closed indefinitely at this location and will use the downtime over the next few weeks to move into our new Retail Store located in beautiful Goochland Virginia. This means we will return calls to the Store as they are missed.
Our Online Store will remain 100% open, committed and have plenty of inventory available to fill orders. We have taken as many precautionary steps as possible and transitioning now to operating in a full web operations capacity as well as working with State and Local Government to determine when to open our new store to the public.
Due to COVID-19, We are experiencing delays 24-48 hours for a reply to your emails and Order. We will be monitoring the COVID-19 situation closely and we will make adjustments as necessary. At this time, Retail Store phone support will be limited to callback but our Team will monitor phone messages and voicemails. We will answer any questions you may have over the email and via our contact form. Online Orders typically take 24-48 hours before they are handled and we are seining shipping delays for items in-stock. If we are out, we will give you clear timeframes when more gear will be available and a date when it will be shipped out.
We hope this time of uncertainty will pass you soon. Keep your social distance and enjoy what mother nature has provided us in the great outdoors. As this time passes and the threat of COVID-19 levels out, We will providing more news when our new Retail Store will open up to the Public.
