Wartime tested.

I got these prior to deployment to Afghanistan as a Nurse. While there... lets just say I saw a LOT of trauma's and other medical emergencies and I used these things practically everyday. These will cut through an entire large roll of Kerlix if you're out of the small stuff... it also cuts a whole ace bandage inside the wrapper. Also sails through combat boot laces, OCPs and other wartime gear. HOWEVER, they do not cut single pieces of gauze/packing well... if it's thin it doesn't cut well, I used the el-cheapo trauma shears for that kind of work, but for heavy cutting it works wonders.
The Molle holster works, and works well. I wore it on my plate carrier or my belt every single day I was deployed, I jumped, rolled and crawled with these in the holster and it didn't fail.

I continue to use these at home as a military ER/T nurse and they continue to perform. The O2 wrench is incredible handy.

Solid shears

I purchased these on a whim, as I enjoy trinkets and gadgets, but also have training as a first responder, albeit not up to date.

I have yet to use them on the scene of a trauma, but I have used them for cutting pennies (made a penny-patterned end table), opening packages (using the strap cutter), cutting rope, cutting 1/16" thick rosewood strips to size at work, etc.

The additional bonus for me was not realizing I couldn't carry my Leatherman Surge at my new job due to a ridiculous weapons policy. I had my multitool on my belt every day for 3 years, and now had nothing at all. These shears helped fill a void there and also replaced a pair of tin snips on the job for the aforementioned rosewood strips, for which they did a much better job.

One thing to avoid, do not use the ring cutter for any harder metals. I went to use it for a key ring that I couldn't get to open (had the keys on it yet) and the edge of the cutter has chipped and is no longer usable except on soft metals like copper or a 24K gold.

The angle of the belt sheath opening is tool-adjustable (phillips head screwdriver) in increments of 45 degrees or smaller. Sheath accommodates normal width and tactical width belts tightly and rather securely.Do not use on a back pack strap or carrier bag strap, as it needs the pressure from your body/pants/vest to maintain a secure position.
