2017 BLADE SHOW WINNER—BEST BUY

The success of Kershaw’s made-in-the-USA Link series has yielded a Dividend. It's a slimmer, sleeker pocket carry—proudly made in the USA in our Tualatin, Oregon factory, yet still built at a very affordable price.

While the original Link is a larger and stouter knife, some of you prefer a slimmer blade. The Dividend is made for you. Not too big, not too small, the Kershaw Dividend is a just-right-sized pocketknife. Its elegant drop-point blade is a perfect 3 inches long and offers enough belly to be an efficient slicer. The knife is easy to open, even one-handed, with SpeedSafe assisted opening and the flipper.

The anodized aluminum handle in matte grey curves gently to fit the hand comfortably. A decorative molded backspacer and left/right reversible pocketclip make the Dividend both handsome and handy.

Great knife for Every Day Carry

Wow, what a great full size folding knife for every day carry! I saw an ad for this knife and just fell in love with its style and lines. I'm not one who regularly carries a pocket knife of this size and type, I usually carry a small Victorinox Classic or mini multi-tool. While the Dividend is 5 times the size of the others I usually carry I forget it is clipped to my pocket. The metal handle Dividend's slim form factor and light weight makes it easy to forget it's there. You only remember when you put your hand in your pocket. The open assist is perfect. Just read the directions on how to hold the knife and pull on the tab. You may want to practice a few times close to a carpeted floor to get used to the action. I flipped it out of my hand the first time!

Couldn't give 5 stars for 2 reasons.

I'm very pleased with my purchase. Great size, great price, great construction. I have multiple good reasons why I like this knife. But I have 2 very strong (for me) gripes. I've been carrying this for a few weeks now every day. The coating on the pocket clip is chipped and falling off like crazy. I carry in a pocket that contains only this knife, the exterior of the clip is protected by either a shirt, or a shirt/hoodie combo. Chipped to hell. The second gripe is it came pretty dull. I could barely slice paper with it brand new. I have purchased much cheaper knives that come very sharp, or at least much sharper than this one came. I put it on a water stone, then used a strop with a little compound and now is nice and sharp. At least the sharpness is fixable. The cheap coating on the pocket clip however, is not.
