Oversized and comfortable

Pretty much perfect for my needs - short-hike backpacking and car camping. I used to do week long treks in the back country through heat and white-out snow, but these days I take it easy. My criteria for gear is; First it must be comfortable for car camping, second durable, and third try to reduce the weight for hike-ins. The convertability in warmth range is really great for those of us who aren’t going to buy premo gear and different bags for different seasons. I took it to the beach and it got wet-ish and slightly dirty but cleaned up great the next day. It kept me perfectly warm and even regulated pretty well once the sun came up and temps went with it.

Pros:
-The stuffing doesn’t come from goose torture.
- Oversized, tons of room to roll around.
- Convertible
- Held up well at the beach
Cons:
- Hood and hood closure. Biggest negative.
- I thought the inside quilt was removable, but that’s on me.
- Packed size and weight

In summary, for my criteria I say this is a perfect fit. There’s room for improvement, but I’m still going to buy one for my wife.
