This knife is designed to be the perfect lightweight survival kit or concealed carry knife.

Features a high quality, wear resistant textured powder coat finish, pommel hole to accommodate carabiner, thumb grippers on the spine and each knife engraved with name, logo and unique serial number.

Where did the name IZULA come from? The locals in Peru call the meanest, nastiest ant of the jungle by the name "Isula" (spelled with an "s"). We know it as the Bullet Ant. The Bullet Ant is known to be independent, tough, light on its feet, and a real aggressive survivor... the IZULA knife is built the same way.

The IZULA II is the same as the IZULA except that the handle is 1/2" longer & it comes with canvas Micarta handle scales and is extremely handy and will fit in most anywhere whether on a belt sheath or as a neck knife.

Great knife, sheath is just OK.

I'm a firm believer that different knives serve different purposes and there's not a true all-purpose knife. This that in mind, the Izula-II is a great everyday/EDC/day hike blade. The overall size is that of a solid folder with the advantages of better handle and full tang construction. I really like the blade shape and the factory edge is almost paper-shaving sharp, fully functional and even better with just a touch of care.I found the handle fits my bigger hands well, giving me a solid 3 fingers and allowing my pinky to drop into the rear hole. Thumb sits firmly in the notches on the spine, allowing great fine control.

Great neck knife for the price

this is a great knife. I am using it as a neck knife for gardening and outdoor work. beats putting a muddy hand into my pocket to get a pocket knife.

the only thing that I would change is the handle. It is a bit thick for a neck knife. I think I would have gotten one without the plastic handle and just all metal (and maybe wrap paracord around the handle instead). but other than that, it is a great knife for the price, it sharpens well, holds a blade, and is strong for prying, etc.

ESEE Izula II Knife

This knife is my favorite EDC blade. It replaced a BM Barrage, and rides in my front pocket 24/7. It is incredibly easy to sharpen, and comes hair popping sharp. The blade is thick which makes it a slower slicer through wood/cardboard/etc, but the strength gained from the thick spine is worth the trade off. Liked it so much I ordered a second one for my son to use, and plan on giving more out as Christmas gifts this year to family. If you want a small fixed blade, I don't think you can beat the Izula II in terms of value/quality/materials/practicality. The included sheath rides high on the pocket, so if you plan on discreet pocket carry(my preferred method) you will need to invest in a pocket sheath for it, or else it will flail around in your pocket and drive you crazy, and stick out in odd but sometimes flattering angles.
