This the original GS05M Gunslinger, a 2700 cubic inch pack with extraordinary features that set it apart from any other mid-size pack. The Backscabbard is wide enough to hold any type of rifle, including assault rifles and sniper rifles with large scopes. The Gunslinger is an excellent organizational tool. The layout of its compartments, with a large and a small tuck-pocket on the outside, two small accessory compartments, a mid-size compartment in the top-cover, and a large main compartment that has both top- and full side-access, you can load the pack with your gear in a way that makes it predictable to locate whatever items you need immediate access to. You can add external mag pouches and accessory pouches virtually anywhere on the pack. On top of this, there is really no way to adequately describe the superiority of this weapons carriage system over the standard shoulder sling.

The GS05M is kept in our inventory in Coyote Brown. NSN 8465-01-548-9564.

An optional accessory, our innovative Endo pack frame is compatible with this pack. The Endo slides into the pack's main load bay, adding both vertical and lateral structure without compromising comfort or the pack's quiet ride.

For more color selection, and a more full-featured pack, be sure to check out our G2 Gunslinger II model -- similar in proportion to the GS05M, the G2 is a front-load/top load hybrid, with a slightly more generously-sized scabbard, to accommodate larger optics, deeper magazines, etc.

What a pack!

As far as this pack goes, lots of room, I have no issues with the side accessibility (yes, it has side accessibility as well as the top) and the pack is custom adjustable, pretty much will fit just about any size person.
Molle all over the pack for strapping or adding on other pouches, etc. Plenty of pockets.I got this pack for my BOB and wanted to carry the AR-15 (PSA, 16" barrel with a Burris MTAC and a Fastfire on top) and it fits prefect. The weight distribution is hard to explain, but I have been able to carry this on my 10 mile hikes without a sore back. Tired, yes, but sore, no.
Currently I carry a Kelly Kettle, 5 days rations, change of cloths, first aid, .40 cal H&K, 4 magazines (one in the HK), 6 AR magazines (one in the AR), 2 Becker knives, a 2 liter bladder, fire items, poncho, a Wiggy Ultra Lite attached with the USGI Bivy.
The zippers are thick and wide. The pack expands very nicely and the compression straps work great to keep everything tight. This pack is thick and has handled everything I've thrown at it so far. Its expensive in my opinion, but it definitely is worth it if you want a pack to carry your weapon too.
