They have been making high quality wrecking bars since 1942 in Sweden.

Tove Bars: Craftsmanship & Quality
What's makes these swedish tove wrecking bars so great? How do I justify spending $75-125 dollars on such a tool when I can buy one at my national chain box store for $25? These are two questions we get a lot when working with thousands of customers at the Store and Online. The answer is simple: You're paying for the quality of the steel, the fine craftsmanship and the physical characteristic of the wrecking bar that makes doing your job/project much more easier for prying and demolishing. Do you want the tool to work better for you or you to work much more harder to do the job?
Breaking it down further: The Tove wrecking bars are forged in specially alloyed steel & tempered/annealed to handle extreme high loads. The steel alloy & handcrafting give the wrecking bars sprung properties which enable it to stand up to extreme loads without deforming or breaking. After spending many weeks using the tove wrecking bars to demo and remodel our new Store, we had the following observations:
• Unlike mass produced pressed wrecking bars we've seen in big box and tool stores, the swedish Tove bars are in a quality bracket in themselves. Made of a high quality steel, this bar handled demo'ing and remodeling 2x6 boards and pallets with ease.
* Even though the Tove bars come in five different sizes, we found that that we used the larger 36" size and the middle 25" size bars for most of the jobs due to its comfort and practicality.
• The chisel grind end & nail claw are both extremely sharp & thinly ground which makes working in tight edges much easier when wedging behind boards, pallets and planks.
•The nail claw end on the wrecking bars provided minimum damage as it penetrated and pry the surface of the wood.
• With the angled V-slot nail claw end, we were able to pull many different size nails regardless of the size of the head. This was a huge benefit and less hassle so we didn't have to constantly change tools.

Trust Your Tools: Quality Matters
Trusting your gear and tools to do their job with efficiency and accuracy at ongoing level is why we started our business. We believe you should rely on your gear and tools should be built for professional use for the every adventurer without failing on you. The new store remodel project lreally allowed our team to put the Tove wrecking bars to the test and I'm glad we did. While we have used many pry bars in the past, the Tove Bars were excellent to get the job and are built to last for many years to come.
