It is important to him that you can hold the knife in a variety of positions comfortably and do hard work with the blade for an extended period of time. He also is a firm believer that the handle has to index the knife in your hand, so that however you hold it, you will always know where the edge is without having to look. This is very important when doing work with a knife in areas where you cannot see the blade such as when reaching inside the body cavity of a large animal when field dressing it. The great handle function of Andy's knives works with his excellent blade designs to create a top performing cutting tool. All Fiddleback Forge knives come with a lifetime guarantee warranty that your knives to be free of defects from normal use and will repaired or replaced if necessary. There are a few things that are not covered under warranty like natural handle materials such as stag, bone, wood, pearl, and ivory may shrink, crack, and discolor with change in humidity, temperature, or age.
